Faculty of Economics
We offer three professional courses, i.e., "International economy", "Regional economy" and "Tourism economy" and encourage students to analyze economy from both local and global perspectives. Students are expected to become professional economists through these courses.
Our department has offered two professional courses, "Regional economy" and "Tourism economy" to develop professional economists who contribute in the real economy. In 2014, we add a new course "International economy", since it is important to analyze international economy in this global economy. With these three courses, we help students understand economy and acquire practical and professional skills that are useful in the real world.
We especially encourage students to analyze economy from both local and global perspectives. Students experience field research, internships and overseas training and understand real economy from a local perspective. At the same time, students study advanced economic theory and develop skills to consider economy from a global perspective. These trainings support students acquiring practical and professional skills to contribute in corporations, public institutions and NGOs.
