Toward building a sound
society by making most of cutting edge technology
We think that acquiring the full command
of basic knowledge in the field is the most important thing.
The Faculty of Engineering offers five departments that are
considered to be the main fields of engineering. We expect our
students to develop creativity which will allow them to deal
with innovative technology in a flexible way. Thus, we place
the highest priority on acquiring the full command of basic
knowledge in the field.
Small-group classes provide more "hands-on"
experience.
From the first year, the Engineering Faculty prepares small
classes in which students have more chances to get "hands-on"
experience. They are expected to build a solid foundation of
basic knowledge in the field and get ready for their graduate
research in the fourth year, in which they will learn how to
be creative and how to apply the knowledge they have gained
to new situations.

full support.
A full range of facilities and equipment allows students to
gain practical experience on how to use them and also enhances
their information processing skills. |
