Four (six) years seems a long way to go, but actually it's not!! The thing is, if you really want to live your college days to the fullest, you should be the one to make the first move in doing whatever it is you want to do. Create a college life for yourself that is incomparable to anyone else’s by being an active participant in every event Setsunan offers!!

April

  • Entrance Ceremony
  • Freshman guidance
    • Guidance will be held in order to equip freshmen with some tips that are helpful to spending the next four (six) years at Setsunan University. The tips are, for example, about various academic activities, university life, how to use campus facilities, and others.
  • Annual health check-up
  • First-semester classes start
  • Syun-poo-sai
    • (or "Spring breeze festival", to welcome new students)
  • Spring league tournaments for extracurricular activities

  • Graduate school entrance examination for Setsunan students

  • Freshman Camp

July

  • Intensive classes
  • Semester final exams
    • There are two sets of annual regular exams. The first-semester exams take place for about two weeks from mid-July. That is the time you prove what you have learned from April.

August

  • Summer vacation
    • Vacation will last for one and half months, staring from August 1st through mid-September. Try to find a meaningful way to spend your long vacation!!
  • Overseas English Study Program / Overseas Language Training Program
    • It will be a great help in the future if you can brush up your global perspectives and sensitivities while a college student. For those who wish to do so, Setsunan is ready to help with great overseas study programs in cooperation with six universities in five foreign countries such as the United States.
  • Summer training camp for extracurricular activities
  • Seminar Camp

September

  • Second-semester classes start
    • Make a fresh start for the second half of the year. There's still a chance to make-up for it if you didn't do well on the first-semester finals. So psych up and study hard!!
  • First-semester grades issued
  • Fall league tournaments for extracurricular activities
  • Graduate school fall entrance exam

October

  • University founding anniversary
    • (October 30)

  • Setsunan University festival
  • Speech contest

  • Semester final exams
    • Second-semester finals will take place for two weeks, starting the beginning of February. Tests at our university are mostly essay-type, which challenges your basic knowledge and logical thinking.
  • Leaders Camp
    • Captains and main figures of extracurricular activity groups get together and spend an insightful time in order to strengthen their leadership skills.
  • Graduate school spring entrance exam

March

  • Final grades issued
    • Grades are based on your day-by-day efforts and exam results. Your efforts will be paid off in the end.
  • Commencement Ceremony
    • Study, exams, thesis, clubs, the campus where you enjoyed your adolescence with all your might. With all of those memories, each graduating student will leave Setsunan and go out into the world.
