Training for Pharmaceutical
Scientists and Pharmacists that are able to Cope with the Demands
of the Times
Off-Campus Practical Pharmaceutical
Training and Performance of Graduation Thesis are Examples of
the Most Remarkable Features in our Faculty
Comprised of the Department of Environmental Health Sciences
and the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Faculty of
Pharmaceutical Sciences covers not only pharmaceuticals but
chemical substances in general that have an impact on our lives.
Both departments offer 4-year courses with all students being
involved in practical training outside the university at hospitals
and registered pharmacies. Furthermore, all students in experimental
group are requested to complete graduation thesis.
Boasting the Top Performance in the
National Examination for Pharmacist License
During the 13 years between the graduation of our first students
and March 2000 we had the highest pass rate in Japan for the
National Examination for Pharmacist License with almost all
graduates receiving their license as a result of the high level
of expertise and support provided by the university to them.
Ultra-Modern Facilities and Post Graduate
Education
In order to keep up with the rapid advances in pharmaceutical
sciences we make sure that we have the very latest of equipment
in our modern facilities. We also hold public lectures for our
graduates so that they can continue their education even after
graduation. |
