摂南大学は、キャンパス２つ、学部７つからなる関西有数の総合大学です。本学は、来るグローバル社会を見据え、2015年4月に「SETSUDAI VISION 2025」とする国際化戦略を発表し、「地域で学んだ知を世界に展開する」「世界で学んだ知を地域に還元する」ことができる人材の育成を全学あげて推し進めています。この活動の一環として、我々薬学部においても、これまでのベトナムでの海外研修をさらに発展させるべく、2018年度にグローバル教育委員会を立ち上げました。今後、毎年10－20名程度の薬学部生に海外での研修の機会を与えることで、グローバル社会への対応力を身に着けた、未来型薬剤師の育成に取り組む所存でございます。
Setsunan University, also known as “SETSUDAI*” is a private university consisting of two campuses and seven faculties, located in Osaka, Japan. In preparation for the coming globalism, our university proposed “SETSUDAI VISION 2025” in April 2015 with an intention to increase the element of “internationalism” in our education. As a part of this proposal, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences decided to expand on the previous study abroad program in Vietnam and launched "Global Education Working Group" in April 2018. We are offering 10-20 students annually, an opportunity to study abroad; through this, we are hoping to foster internationalism in future pharmacists at our university.
*Abbreviation of Setsunan University, derived from a combination of Setsunan's 'SETSU' and Daigaku's 'DAI' from the Japanese name “Setsunan Daigaku.”
