学部長あいさつ/From the dean

摂南大学は、キャンパス2つ、学部9つからなる関西有数の総合大学です。本学薬学部は、枚方キャンパス開設と同時に設立され、2023年で40周年を迎えました。これまでに卒業生7,000人超を輩出しており、その98％が薬剤師免許を取得し、社会で活躍しております。学内には薬用植物園を併設し、多様な学習に対応できる環境が整っております。現在では、チーム基盤型学習や個別学習プログラムを導入した初年次教育や、学外での実務実習に備えたフィジカルアセスメント実習や実践薬学、そして少人数制の卒業研究と国家試験対策が実施されております。
Setsunan University is one of the leading comprehensive universities in the Kansai region, consisting of two campuses and eight departments. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established at the same time as the opening of the Hirakata Campus, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023. To date, we have produced more than 7,000 graduates, 98% of whom have obtained pharmacist licenses and are active in society. The campus has a clinical research center and a medicinal botanical garden, providing an environment that can accommodate a variety of learning needs. Currently, first-year education that introduces team-based learning and individual learning programs, physical assessment practice and practical pharmacy in preparation for off-campus practical training, graduation research in small groups, and preparation for national exams are being implemented.
