摂南大学は、2つのキャンパスと9学部を擁する関西有数の総合大学です。本学薬学部は、枚方キャンパスの開設と同時に設立され、2023年に40周年を迎えました。これまでに7,000人を超える卒業生を輩出し、その98％が薬剤師免許を取得して社会で活躍しています。本学では、入学後すぐの初年次教育を教育の柱とし、批判的思考や論理的文章作成の力を徹底的に養うとともに、少人数グループによる課題解決型学習によりチームワークを身につけます。さらに、学内には薬用植物園などの実践的な学習環境が整っており、実物に触れながら理解を深めることができます。2年次には創薬の流れを学ぶ実習を行い、3年次以降は各コースに分かれて専門性を高めます。上級学年では、専門科目を横断的に結び付けた演習により理解を深めます。このような体系的な教育のもとで、専門性と人間力を磨き、これからの医療を支える薬剤師へと成長してください。そのための確かな学びが、本学にはあります。
Setsunan University is one of the leading comprehensive universities in the Kansai region, with two campuses and nine faculties. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established at the same time as the opening of the Hirakata Campus, and celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023. To date, we have produced more than 7,000 graduates, 98% of whom have obtained pharmacist licenses and are contributing to society. At our university, first-year education beginning immediately after enrollment serves as the cornerstone of our curriculum, where students rigorously develop critical thinking and logical writing skills, while also cultivating teamwork through problem-based learning in small groups. In addition, the campus is equipped with practical learning environments, including a medicinal botanical garden, allowing students to deepen their understanding through hands-on experience. In the second year, students undertake practical training to learn the drug discovery process, and from the third year onward, they develop their expertise through specialized courses. In the upper years, students deepen their understanding through exercises that connect specialized subjects across disciplines. Under this systematic educational approach, we encourage you to refine your expertise and character, and grow into a pharmacist who will support the healthcare of tomorrow. The solid foundation for that growth is right here at our university.
